Hey guys! Only you two so far, Amber and Birdcat, but hey. I PM'd you guys already but! A new question. I'll make this a poll, I suppose.
I'm not making progress thus far because of being at a stop on re-creating the Clans. So, do you guys think we should keep GOA's original Clans? Or would you rather see GOA converted to traditional book Clans? Are there any specific Clan territories you want to see kept, added, or changed if we keep GOA's original Clans?

Okay, so, this kinda just popped into my head while reading this. [And this is also possibly a plot idea?]
Maybe, we keep GOA's Clans, but uproot them from their territories. Make them leave, for whatever reason, [but something interesting and original, not being overrun by Twolegs, as that's boring and overused] and have this reboot in entirely new territories.
Just an idea, I might add more when I think of it, by my brain just derped~

Sorry for being late! I've been super busy with my job. I finally have today off. I'll email both you and Birdcat my schedule this morning.
I really like that idea though! We should totally go with it. The forum's moving too, after all. What are some things you'd find interesting? I'll think about it over the week, too.

I think we should think of a site wide plot and a few mini plots to go along with it. I have an old plot that was used on another site before it died. But I dunno *rolls away*

I dunno, I was thinking of letting it be an independent RP because most like to create their own stories... with the Clans moving in Amber's suggestion we could potentially have a start-off type of site-wide plot to begin with perhaps, and then have everything turn into mini plots created between members for their independent RPs? That's the only solution I can think of for including all three ideas here.

Even with a broad site-wide plot, members are generally still free to create their own mini plots, usually without interference from the main plot. [Just what I've learned from experience.]
As for why the cats were forced out of their old territories, I'm still working on that. Sorry it's taking a while. >.<

Well that's true. I just want to make sure it's something that can catch people's interest and such so it gives GOA a good reputation, y'know?
I'm not sure on why either :/ I haven't had enough time to think about it. Things should even out with my schedule for weekend evenings and Tuesdays after this Saturday though for me to give this more attention. Things at work have been rough lately. But yeah, if you guys want a site-wide plot then probably more will too so we'll think of something to coordinate that!

HOLY FLIP I'VE GOT IT
Wolf pack.
The Clans lived in peace for generations, safe in their familiar territories. No cat could remember a time that they hadn't lived within those lands, the lands they had been born and raised in. After generations of peace with the land, their world began to change. Strange beasts slowly entered into their territories, massive mounds of fur larger than anything the cats had seen. They were huge, their coats in shades of grey and brown and black and white. With massive jaws and a taste for feline blood, these large creatures traveled in a Clan of their own, able to take on whole patrols of cats with ease.
The Clans learned to fear these massive monsters, and lived in hiding, struggling to survive. Headstrong, they refused to give up their territories. Until one night, with the full moon shining brightly, as the Clans were gathered together. Cries and cauterwauls echoed from a distance, and ____Clan and _____Clan, closest to where the monsters lived, raced into the clearing. They screamed of how the monsters invaded their camps, and were heading toward the gathering place. The leaders were divided. Goldenstar and Finchstar wanted to flee, but Rookstar and Fallenstar wanted to stay and fight. The cats gathered began to panic, and it became difficult to control their emotions. The leaders of ____Clan and ____Clan sent a few warriors each to their camps, to bring the remaining cats to the gathering.
Once all the cats had been gathered, the leaders came to a decision. They had to flee. There was no defense against the massive, seemingly indestructable beasts. ___Clan and ____Clan had lost many cats just in their panicked escape. Before the creatures could come for them, the four Clans began to make their escape. The leaders spaced out among the cats, making sure no cat was left behind. Little did they know that this was the start of a long, perilous journey.
And then after that, we begin with the journey to their new territories, with descriptions and everything. Maybe, for a site plot, they've just made it, and now they've got to adjust to their new territories, and the dangers that lie within?

Oh dang I didn't realize it'd been 5 days since you posted 8( sorry about that, I'm on a pretty busy schedule!
Buuut I like the idea of having wolves around--it'd give it a feel of the Darkest Hour or A Dangerous Path, and if we put it to JUST as they're moving out of their initial territories, people could have wolves to role-play with their warriors. I think that'd add some cool twists and it'd suit the name of the site--after all they need SOMETHING more to fight against if they're gonna have the threat of getting out alive! I'll think with that today at work. I should get to have Tuesday off until evening hours this week, I'm not sure--if I do after my doctor appointment that day I'll be on here a lot brainstorming new territories! Otherwise you can definitely count on seeing me around on Saturday and Sunday evenings this weekend without fail. (This work thing is why I'll be appointing a co-administrator eventually).
